After much anticipation, the results are in.
Draper’s Field, in the Newham area, hosts excellent facilities for any football player. Following the Council’s Olympic Legacy Project, this space has been transformed into a great pitch available for anyone to book. The Olympic Legacy aimed to leave a lasting impact from the Games on London, and Draper’s Field is a great example of how London 2012 helped make great sports facilities more accessible in the capital. The venue has been featured by YouTuber Miniminter in a video with the Skill Twins. Watch the clip below to see the pitch in action!
From casual matches after work, to competitive and regular league matches, this pitch will cater for you. The 3G pitches are floodlight, so no need to miss out on an after-work kick about in the evening on this up to date artificial pitch. The pitch can be split into three 5 a side pitches or can take a full 11 a side game.
This pitch is easily accessible by train from Leyton Station, so perfect for anyone in the area. The venue also hosts great changing facilities and a cafe which is excellent for relaxing, having a catch up, or talking some serious tactics. Draper’s Field has a lot to offer and captures the combination of a high quality accessible sports venue, with the social focus that is at the heart of My Local Pitch.
With 5 aside pitches at £66/hour and 11 aside at £150 and great availability, Draper’s Field is perfect for your casual kick about with mates or a competitive game. The pitch is open 7 days a week and bookable through My Local Pitch, so it couldn’t be easier for you to play at Draper’s Field!
