After growing our business for 5 years and helping over 1.5million people play sport MyLocalPitch is changing its name to Playfinder.
It’s never an easy decision to replace those beloved tennis shoes, lucky astro boots or favourite netball top, but it’s time for a fresh and re-energized look. We’re ready for that kit change.
MyLocalPitch has served us superbly as a name, but we wanted to better encapsulate our multi-sports offering and our national reach.
Recreational sports lovers can now find and book 19 different sports across the UK.
London is where the business roots began, but now they reach across the UK bringing a plethora of recreational sport to communities in Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Swansea and Leeds.
Our core mission of making it simpler for people to enjoy sports remains the driving business force.
We know the urban work-life balance isn’t always easy to juggle and the service takes the hassle away from finding places to play. Sport plays a pivotal role in bringing people together, sharing moments – good and bad! – and enhancing well-being.
Those reasons remain the very essence of Playfinder.
